Tempel Wines

Tempel Wines is a boutique wine farm on the bank of the Bergrivier in Paarl owned by Belgian Tom Heeremans. Our philosophy is to make wine with minimal intervention and to let the grapes do the "talking". We ferment all our wines wild. Our red wines are fermented in old open concrete tanks with manual punchdowns and matured in concrete eggs, French oak foudres and barrels. We work mainly with Mediterranean varietals, (old) bush vines and besides our own grapes, we source also grapes from Wellington, Swartland and Stellenbosch.
