Wolvenhoek vineyards lies at the foot of the luscious green hill, the Groenberg in Wellington. The family owned farm is part of the old vine project and boasts 45- to 36- year old chenin blanc vineyards of which we make easy-drinking and premium wines. The Emerald Hill protects the vines from the wind that howls like a wolfpack through the mountains and creates a unique cool temperature in the hot Wellington area. It is a testimony to the distinctive terroir of the Groenberg and the underrated capacity of Wellington old vines.
