Vineyard
single vineyard chenin blanc block from 1977 Groenberg terroir : decomposed granite sand and clay Hot summer climate , cooled by mountain winds during the night
Vinification
The grapes were hand-picked at phenolic ripeness, hand sorted and pressed whole bunch.
Maturation
partial MLF in 225 liter old oak barrels, and matured for 9 months one part was kept unwooded in ss tank and didn't go through MLF.
