Description
Medium to full-bodied wines with juicy tannins and opulent dark fruit reminiscent of Italian fruit cake. Layered notes of leather and Tabacco present on the second nose. A long, juicy and peppery finish.

Vineyard
Groenberg terroir decomposed granite sand and clay. Hot summer climate, cooled by mountain winds during the night.
Vinification
Harvested at optimum ripeness. Handpicked and sorted, destemmed cold maceration for 2 days, alcoholic fermentation in open bins.
Maturation
Malolactic fermentation was completed in new and old barrels. Bottled after 18 months it was in barrels..
