Description
Harvested from the fertile Berg River's alluvial plains the grapes were whole-bunch pressed to minimize phenols. Cold-fermentation and maturation in stainless steel were followed by 9 months of maturation on lees before bottling preparation. Vibrant in appearance with a light green hue, this is a classic Franschhoek Sauvignon Blanc. Delicate notes of lime cordial and freshly mown hay are found on the nose whilst the beautifully balanced palate marries riper tropical fruit flavours with vibrant acidity and creamy texture from 9 months of maturation on lees.
