About
The magnificent estate is situated on the scenic outskirts of Paarl, 45min away from Cape Town. The farm combines agricultural and indigenous fynbos, positioned uniquely as an amphitheatre, with northeast-and southwest-facing slopes comprising rich granite and black marble soils. The vineyards rise from 100m to about 500m. Due to its unique location, the east-facing slopes are less susceptible to the high summer temperatures whilst the west-facing slopes are less susceptible to high winds sometimes experienced in the Paarl region. All of the wines are made from grapes grown on the estate.
