Lautus Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 55% and Merlot 45% , the Cabernet Sauvignon tends to bring the dark fruit profile to the wine, cassis and dark berry flavour profiles but quite nicely underpinned by the Merlot that brings red berry fruits and plushness to the wine which makes it nice and moreish. On the palet theres light oaking, the making is dark roasted French oak barrels you will find a lot more spicy notes coming from the oak but it does carry the wine quite nicely with well balanced fine tannins.
