Keermont Vineyards

Keermont Vineyards is a family owned specialist wine estate situated in a naturally formed amphitheatre between the Stellenbosch and Helderberg Mountains. The Wraith family purchased the farm in 2003 and once Alex Starey joined the team in 2005, we started a planting program to bring the 8 ha of vines up to a total of 30 ha, with 13 different cultivars planted. We follow a natural and traditional winemaking philosophy meaning only indigenous yeast fermentation, no adjustment to acid or alcohol, maturation in seasoned oak barrels and bottling is done by hand with little or no filtration.
