Orpheus & The Raven Swansong Riesling 2022

Aromatic medley of cling peach, baby apricot and ripe quince with mandarin, adding a bitter citrus aroma with a touch of Neroli. Secondary notes add broader strokes of honeycomb, nougat, almond and cinnamon and a sweet candy note of mango and pineapple. Tasting the wine, a savoury lift of dried oregano and orange pith adds an old-world elegance with a mouth-filling character of marmalade and lemon. Albeit off dry, a lively acidity brightens the palate and weaves freshness into the concentration of the wine with an earthy, almost salted caramel richness balancing the minerality.
