Dark red colour with touches of youthful ruby on the rim. Old World like nose invites with red berries and cherry, floral perfume, and freshly tilted earth on the nose. The palate is medium bodied with fresh acidity, raspberry, savoury French herb flavours, and firm but fine tannin structure. Dry finish begs for further aging recommended for 5 – 8 years under good storage conditions.

The Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz all come from Fairview’s Darling vineyards. They are dry-land farmed and planted in deep, rich Oakleaf soils. Summer canopy management practices include suckering and leaf removal, ensuring optimal sunlight penetration.
