Vineyard
Mediterranean. The fruit is from both younger vines, that drive the fruit profile, and low-yielding older vineyards, that provide a very finely structured backbone. Oak leaf and weathered granite soils ensure these vines are planted in soils rich in organic matter.
Vinification
A variety of Backsberg’s premium red cultivars are blended together to create a soft, easy-drinking red wine. This wine incorporates portions of exceptional wines of various winemaking styles with some high-quality oak aged components building a beautiful backbone for this value-for-money blend.
