Compagniesdrift

The Myburgh Family Trust, owners of renowned Meerlust Wine Estate, was the driving force behind the establishment of Compagniesdrift to ensure meaningful and economically viable empowerment of their workers. The Meerlust Workers’ Trust owns Compagniesdrift since July 2019. The company was initially started in collaboration with the Myburgh Family Trust, Standard Bank and the Department of Land Affairs through its Land Reform and Development programme. They specialize in wine storage and labeling facilities and produce their own premium wines under the Compagniesdrift label since 2015.
